Based on Alfred Noyes' Poem The Highwayman, this game was made for a school assignment and is my first venture into using Bitsy. Though the game is based on the poem, the narrative was changed to make it more family friendly as well as shorter.

You play the Highwayman, after a successful roadside robbery, you decide to go to a nearby inn. This is where you meet Bess, you give her a conveniently placed flower, and the plot dictates that the two of you instantly fall in love. Your mission becomes to explore the map and find a big score. But, as it always does for wanted men, trouble arises.

Will you steal the big score? Will you get the girl? Will any of the dialogue make sense? Find out by playing this super short game adaptation of an early 20th century love ballad!
